Brazil: China's 15th Five-Year Plan introduces stability into global uncertainty: Brazilian expert
A Brazilian professor has observed that China's 15th Five-Year Plan not only charts the next phase of its own development but also plays a stabilizing role in an increasingly uncertain global landscape, bringing new development opportunities to countries across the Global South. Augusto Leal Rinaldi, an international relations professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, shared his insights on 15th Five-Year Plan with China Global Television Network (CGTN) in a recent interview. In October 2025, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China concluded with the adoption of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, which sets China's strategic course for 2026 to 2030, a vital period linking past achievements with the milestone of basically achieving socialist modernization by 2035. Beyond strengthening its own development trajectory, the 15th Five-Year Plan also addresses common concerns across the international community, especially in Global South. So, I think it (the 15th Five-Year Plan) can play a stabilizing role in global economy."; FILE: China - Date Unknown 4. Various of solar panels; 5. They need resources to build infrastructure to addressn climate challenges, and China has always supported the development of Global South countries, while caring about challenges developing countries are facing. China has made great contributions in this regard. So, the 15th Five-Year Plan not only align with China's own development visions, but also can address concerns shared by much of the international community."
