Ro-Ro cargo vessel tilts dangerously during maintenance in Tuzla, Turkey
On October 9, 2025, in Tuzla, Turkey, @tengotm shared a video capturing a tragic ship disaster involving the Ro-Ro cargo vessel Elmes. In the video, uncontrolled water enters the vessel’s ballast tank, causing it to tilt sharply while workers nearby react to the sudden instability. As the ship lists dangerously, sliding hatch covers fall, and several workers are thrown into the water. The accident tragically resulted in the deaths of two Ukrainian workers and injuries to several others.
