4. EXTERIOR OF DAMAGED BUILDINGS (TWO SHOTS) KYIV, UKRAINE - NOV. 25, 2025: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Tuesday, Nov. 25, that six people lost their lives in attacks carried out by the Russian army on various regions of the country using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
In a post on the U.S.-based social media platform X, Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army used more than 460 UAVs and 22 missiles in attacks on Ukraine throughout the night.
Referring to the attacks on the capital Kyiv during the night, Zelenskyy said civilians and civilian infrastructure were targeted, and noted:
"Widespread damage occurred to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure across the city. Six people were killed, and 13 were injured."
Zelenskyy added that in Odesa, the port, food warehouses, and civilian infrastructure were hit, while energy infrastructure was targeted in the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.
He said most of the UAVs used in the attacks were Russian-Iranian “Shahed” drones, four of which entered the airspace of Moldova and Romania.
Zelenskyy urged the international community to maintain weapons supplies, air defense support and sanctions pressure on Russia, saying assistance must not be interrupted. He said partners should intensify diplomatic efforts together and that increased pressure on Moscow must yield results.
