Horses clash with tourists still sitting on their backs
This is the dramatic moment horses fought one another while tourists were sitting on their backs.
Mr Chen was riding a brown horse when it suddenly kicked a white equine nearby at a ranch in Inner Mongolia, China.
Point-of-view footage shows the terrified holidaymaker holding onto the reins as the visibly enraged animal struck the other animal on August 19.
Meanwhile, Mr Chen's friend can be seen struggling to balance as the two hoofed creatures clashed.
Other holidaymakers can be heard yelling at the animals, trying to stop the fight.
Mr Chen said: 'They eventually stopped after we separated them. We still continued the trip afterwards.'
Experts said that horses may fight due to territorial instincts, establishing dominance, fear, stress, or discomfort. Sudden movements, unfamiliar surroundings, or close proximity to other horses can trigger such aggressive behavior.
