A 10-foot long alligator was wrangled by cops outside a 7-Eleven in Florida.

Footage released by the Sarasota County Sheriff's office shows the moment officers wrangled with the alligator before putting it on a truck.

The alligator was captured by a contracted alligator specialist who loaded it onto the truck without causing any injury.

This latest sighting in Venice, Florida, comes a week after a 600-pound alligator was seen wandering the streets of Sarasota.

In a post on social media, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said: "Yes… it happened again. "

"Another day, another gator – Sarasota's really determined to make this a weekly series."
