Gaza - December 15, 2025 Israeli military forces from the Golani Brigade Combat Team, operating under the Gaza Division (143), have been conducting operations in recent weeks along the designated “Yellow Line” area in eastern Rafah. According to the military, the activities are aimed at dismantling above- and below-ground militant infrastructure and removing immediate threats to troops and to Israel. During the operations, forces reported locating weapons and surveillance equipment, including Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, and cameras, which were described as having been used by Hamas militants. The military also stated that several militant sites were destroyed and individuals identified as posing an immediate threat were killed. Israeli forces under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire framework and say operations will continue to address any immediate security threats.
