Vikarabad, India - December 24, 2025 A major accident was narrowly averted on the Hyderabad-Bijapur highway in Vikarabad. An overloaded and speeding lorry lost control at an intersection and overturned. A child who was present at the scene escaped unharmed, much to the relief of onlookers. The lorry was traveling at a high speed and was carrying more cargo than its capacity. Traffic was disrupted for some time after the accident. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and restored normal traffic flow.
