A disturbing CCTV clip has surfaced showing a group of monkeys attacking an elderly woman in a residential neighbourhood of Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The incident took place on December 26 in Kila Mohalla.

The footage shows the woman sitting on a chair in the sun when a troop of monkeys suddenly approaches from behind. One monkey bites her, followed by another climbing onto the chair and repeatedly attacking her waist. The same monkey is then seen pulling her by the hair as she cries for help.

A second woman rushes out to rescue her but is also chased by the monkeys and narrowly escapes. Both women are seen fleeing the spot to save themselves.

The injured woman, identified as Santosh Devi, was taken to a hospital in Delhi for treatment. Her condition is now stable, though she is undergoing a course of injections following the bites.

The incident has sparked concern among residents, as monkey menace continues despite recent efforts by authorities to capture them. INLD leader Bhupender Rathi has expressed anger over the incident, questioning public safety as troops of monkeys continue to roam residential areas.
