Timelapse captures clouds spilling over mountains in Scotland
This is the spectacular moment clouds spilled over the rugged mountain landscape in Scotland.
Time-lapse footage shows the clouds moving across the rocky ridges like flowing water, forming what appears to be a cloud waterfall on the Crianlarich Munros on December 28.
Experts said the effect occurs when the altitude is just high enough for clouds to spill over mountain crests, producing a rare and visually dramatic phenomenon.
Filmer Iain Cameron said: 'Just high enough today on the Crianlarich Munros to get some atmospheric cloud-spilling.'
The Crianlarich Munros, known for their dramatic terrain, provide a setting where such atmospheric effects can occasionally be seen.
