US, Los Angeles: Long Beach Double Fatal Crash
Los Angeles, United States - January 05, 2026 01/04/2026 10:12 pm GMT-0800 LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach police officers and the fire department responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 6th Street. Crews arrived to find three vehicles involved in the collision, resulting in multiple injuries. Two individuals were declared deceased at the scene, and at least two others sustained injuries. Authorities are currently investigating whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Information while at the scene indicated that Long Beach police may be searching for an individual involved, possibly the driver of a BMW present at the scene. The area remained closed for an unknown duration as officers conducted their investigation.
