This is the hilarious moment a skier took a tumble when her friend crashed into her on the piste.

Caroline Raffel, 23, attempted a cheeky stunt by sliding down the slope in a seated position between Julie Raffel's legs in Canazei, Italy.

Footage shows Julie, dressed in blue skiwear, accelerating downhill on December 23.

Moments later, Caroline, in a purple ski suit, sped towards her friend and reached out to grab her in a playful prank. The sudden contact caused the startled holidaymaker to lose her balance.

The shocked holidaymaker immediately lost her balance and tumbled onto the snowy slopes, sliding away as the group burst into laughter at the comical mishap.

Julie did not sustain any injuries during the fall.
