US, Los Angeles: Westchester Waymo Involved Crash
Los Angeles, United States - January 20, 2026 01/19/2026 09:32 pm GMT-0800 WESTCHESTER, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles Fire Department, and the California Highway Patrol responded late Monday evening to a reported two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Alvern Street in West Los Angeles. Upon arrival, officers found that a Waymo and a Buick had been involved in the collision. There were no reported injuries from the incident. According to officers on the scene, two individuals were occupants of the Buick SUV. One person was driving while another was a passenger in the vehicle. The Waymo was occupied by a single passenger who was not driving. The investigation revealed that the Buick, a rental car, was acquired by the two individuals upon their arrival at Los Angeles International Airport shortly before the crash.
