This is the heartwarming moment a crowd cheered as runners helped a grandmother cross a marathon finishing line.
Footage captured by Desiree Anne Alaba shows the elderly woman inching towards the end of the race while a man and a woman assist her from behind during the Angel's Burger Great UP Run in Metro Manila, the Philippines.
A coordinator can be seen holding a medal in front of them as they slowly approach him on January 25.
He then carefully placed the yellow and red lanyard around the pensioner's neck, prompting surrounding runners to cheer and applaud.
Desiree said: 'It was inspiring because even though she was struggling to participate, she finished the race.'
