Manholes in India seem to have been made to play a prank on pedestrians as well as cattle. A week after a video of a man falling into a manhole emerged from northeastern part of the country, another video has surfaced of cow falling into a manhole in Surat, Gujarat, in the western part of India.

The visuals show the cow stuck inside the man and is helplessly looking at her rescuers. Local authorities and general public join hands to carry out of the rescue operation. A JCB vehicle was pressed into service to be able to lift the bigger cover over the manhole. Once the cover was lifted, people pitched in and helped remove it completely. It was then the cow was pulled out of the manhole.
