A dramatic video has emerged of a woman escaping serious injury after falling 'drunk' from a building window in China on Wednesday, being caught on the way down by good samaritans holding a duvet on the street below.

According to local reports the woman, in her thirties, was seen throwing belongings from her second-floor flat in Shandong Province before falling from the window - reportedly drunk.

Six passers-by took a duvet she'd previously thrown down and held it when she started to look precariously balanced on the edge, managing to position themselves as she fell to save her.

The woman was reportedly taken to hospital but escaped serious injury, hurting her fingers and remaining 'drunk'. What sparked the incident remains unknown.
