The speeded up footage shows what it would be like to race from Grasmere to the Slate mine at the top of the Honister pass on what seems like the front of a superbike.

The trip would normally take around 40 minutes but is completed in four by speeding up the footage allowing you to digest the beautiful scenery at a breakneck pace.

The Lake District was recently awarded the title of the UK's top visitor spot by the Travel Magazine Wanderlust's readers, beating London for the second time is an many years.
