Resident holds hose out of window to help extinguish neighbour's flat in southern China
A resident held a hose out of their window to help extinguish their neighbour's flat in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on October 16 shows a man named Chen and a property management officer holding a water hose out of Chen's flat window to try to extinguish the fire on the neighbouring balcony.
According to reports, sparks flew into Chen's neighbour's balcony and lit the shoe boxes.
Since the neighbour was not at home, Chen opened a fire hydrant in the corridor and held the water hose with an officer from the property management out of his flat window to help put out the fire for his neighbour.
After firefighters arrived, they broke into the flat and put out the remaining fire.
The case is under further investigation.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
