An inspiring video has emerged from China of a pensioner developing interest in pole dance and keeping years of practice.

The footage, filmed during a pole dance class in Sichuan Province last week, shows the lady finishing a series of challenging positions and doing stretch training among a group of young learners.

According to news reports, the senior learner, Ms Dai is turning seventy in two month and has been practising pole dance for over four years.

She won a gold medal in a national contest recently and has aimed to dance till eighty-two.

近日，70岁的她勇夺全国钢管舞大赛金奖，她说：自己的目标是跳到82岁，超越最老超模卡门-戴尔，在钢管上秀出自己的精彩。
