Two men rescued a motorist trapped in a car that was sinking into a river in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Nantong in Jiangsu Province on February 4 shows a 60-year-old man named Shi Bingsheng rafting a boat toward a sinking boat while another 48-year-old man named Wang Bing swam to it.

The two men were seen standing on the boat and using a brick to smash the car window open.

They then pulled the woman out of the car through the broken window and dragged her onto the boat.

The boat reportedly sank just one minute after the motorist was rescued.

According to reports, the 39-year-old woman named Huang accidentally drove her SUV into the river after she lost control.

Fortunately, Huang was not injured seriously. Police are investigating the case.

2月4日上午10时许，江苏南通市区钟秀路孩儿巷路路口东北侧发生惊险一幕：一辆白色宝马SUV车突然冲出路面，栽入路旁河道。眼看被困女司机将被河水吞没，生死时刻，两名群众英勇施救，他们一人跳河游泳营救，一人撑船靠近，最终合力破窗将女子救出。一分钟后，SUV车彻底沉入水中。
据附近居民介绍，这条河原来是航道，水深约5米左右，水面宽约50米。事发时白色SUV不知何故突然失控冲进附近的濠河中，车头栽入水面逐渐下沉，情况十分危急。这时一名身穿深蓝色外套的男子，下河进入一艘停在河畔的保洁船奋力划船驶向缓缓下沉的车辆。紧接着，另一名驾车经过的男子，看到这一突发险情，立即停车脱下外衣顺手从地上捡起一块砖头，就纵身跳河向事故车辆奋力游去。上船后，在划船男子协助下，他拼命用力砸着车尾挡风玻璃，最终在两人的相互配合下，成功将浑身湿透的车内女子从破损车窗里救出。两名救人者看到女子无碍后悄然而去。
事后据派出所民警了解，驾船救人者是今年60岁施炳生，另一位游泳救人者是今年48岁的王兵。两人都十分低调，表示只是举手之劳，做了应该做的。
经了解，驾驶白色SUV的女子黄某今年39岁，市区人，事发时驾车由钟秀路右转弯驶入孩儿巷路。目前，交警部门正对事故原因展开调查。万幸的是，黄某在事故中身体未有大碍。
