A brave mother saved her child from a runaway trolley disaster in eastern China.

Video filmed at a supermarket in Jinan City in Shandong Province on July 24, shows a delivery trolley hurtling uncontrollably towards a 1-year-old girl.

Mrs Wu, the child's mother sprinted towards the runaway trolley, averting what could have been a catastrophic accident.

It all began when a delivery driver parked his trolley, laden with over a dozen boxes of mineral water, on a steep slope. Tragically, the trolley slipped from its position, gaining momentum as it headed directly towards.

With adrenaline coursing through her veins, Wu fearlessly charged forward, using her legs and arms to halt the advancing trolley. In an extraordinary display of strength and determination, she managed to bring the perilous situation to a halt, sparing her little girl from any harm.

Although Wu sustained some bruises on her legs, her unwavering bravery ensured her daughter's safety.
