Ruined Historic bridge to be replaced by £300,000 temporary river crossing
Pooley Bridge in Cumbria, was washed away by floodwater in December, effectively cutting off the village from the south.
A new temporary river crossing, costing £300,000 will replace a 300-year-old Cumbrian bridge, which collapsed during Storm Desmond, will be in place by Easter.
