Shocking dashcam video filmed in Yibin City in Sichuan Province on April 16, shows a speeding white car crashing into students crossing a street on a green light.

The Yibin City Traffic Police reported that Mr. Yu drove his car into pedestrians at a crosswalk on Zhengxin Road around 7:00 a.m., killing one student and injuring another.

Authorities have assured that the injured student is receiving medical care and is in stable condition. Mr. Yu has been detained by the police, and while initial investigations have ruled out drunk or drugged driving, further inquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
