Albert Ivan Damanik is a journalist with basics who lives in Medan, Indonesia. Albert has been a journalist photographer since 2010, as a staff photographer for the local daily media. Albert decided to become a freelancer in 2012 and entered video in 2015 by regularly contributing to several news agencies such as Getty Images, Ruptly TV, AFP Video as a freelance contributor. Albert has a solo career in Video and Photo Journalism documentary, winning national championships such as Second Place for National Disaster in 2013 and Grand Prize Winner at the 13th Annual Smithsonian Photo Contest in 2015 and Runner Up at the 2017 Gala Awards.
