Police were trapped and expelled by protesters
The mass police officer from the West Sumatra Police was rejected and expelled by the protesters. Several times a warning shot into the air had to be done by the police to disperse it, but the sound of the gun blast triggered even greater anger by the protesters.
Action refused this police occurred when thousands of masses blocked the By Pass road at Km 15 Padang City, Indonesia, Tuesday (27/2/2018). They rejected the land measurement plan by the National Land Agency (BPN) and demanded certainty over the status of their land claimed by other tribes.
Due to demonstrations in the middle of this road, road users are forced to use alternative routes.
