Toddler gets hilariously stuck inside a giant paint bucket in Bukittinggi, Indonesia

A 5-year-old boy in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia, got himself trapped inside a giant 25-kilogram paint bucket, giving his parents a moment of panic and laughter.

The incident happened on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, near the family’s laundry area at the back of their home.

In the video, the boy, Hafiz, can be seen struggling to climb out of the large bucket. His mother, Dewi, who happened to be holding her phone at the time, decided to record the hilarious yet worrying moment.

At one point, Hafiz became visibly upset and started crying, worried he would not be able to free himself. Still recording, his mother gently tipped the bucket over so his feet could touch the ground, then pulled him safely out by the hand.
