A team of climbers on an expedition to drop $50k of cryptocurrency at the top of Mt. Everest were rescued by helicopter after they got stuck there with no OXYGEN.

Four adventurers trekked 8848m to the summit of the world's tallest mountain as part of a stunt arranged by social network ASKfm.

Once they reached the peak they left 500,000ASKT tokens - equivalent to $50,000 USD or £37,000 GBP - buried in the snow for another thrill-seeker to find.
