Large python caught hiding behind pick-up truck's wheels
This large python was caught after hiding under car wheels in Rayong province, Thailand, on May 13.
Passers-by spotted the serpent enjoying the shade underneath the pick-up truck. A police officer arrived and was seen grasping the snake with his bare hands before dragging out into the road.
Driver Somchai Rungrob said: ''The snake is very lucky that I saw him before driving away. I was not brave enough to pick it up myself though.'' The serpent was carried away and placed in a canvas rice sack before being driven into nearby jungle where it was released.
