Suddenly, he loses his grip and falls to the ground.

The man, who has not been identified, was reportedly injured and rushed to a hospital.

The incident occurred on board Nanded-Bangalore Express in South India on July 12.

An official of South Western Railway said he was reviewing the video and gathering information about the incident.

Reports said a few passengers stopped the train by pulling the chain and the seriously injured man was taken to a hospital.

Media reports said the man, in his mid 20s, was trying to pull a stunt when the mishap occurred. A video shot by a fellow traveller shows him hanging on to the window grills from outside of the speeding train.

After hanging for some distance, with feet dangling in the air, he is unable to hold on and falls off after letting go.

Reports said a few passengers stopped the train by pulling the chain and the seriously injured man was taken to a hospital.

Human Rights activist Kundan Shrivatsava said he was shocked that people opted to make a video of the incident instead of trying to stop him from falling down.
