Heavy rains from Storm Karding flooded the area under Marcos bridge in Metro Manila, Philippines, on August 11 swamping several cars.

Philippines capital region Metro Manila has been red alert as thousands evacuated their homes because of flooding as high as 15 feet over the weekend.

Tropical Storm Karding (Yagi) alreadt left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday morning, August 11, but the steady flow of rain continued because of the southwest monsoon until August 13.

Eighteen evacuation centers are set up as a response to the 4,736 families or about 21,103 individuals who are affected by the Marikina River overlow alone.
