Stomach-churning footage shows a 14ft long python writhing around on the grass as it regurgitates a pet CAT.

Shocked workers noticed the enormous snaked stretched out next to their factory in Pathum Thani, Thailand, on September 24.

Rescuers arrived and prodded the serpent until it started the twist and turn - before opening its deadly jaws to spit out the tabby, which was called Diamond.

Pottery worker Nang Lamai, 62, said: ''I was walking to pick up my belongings and start work when I saw the snake in the grass at the back of a store room.

''The cat was called Diamond and had been living inside the factory. He was a good cat, very tame. Workers saw him regularly and would feed him.

''I never imagined that he would be eaten by a snake. There has never been a snake in the factory before. We have buried the cat nearby.''

Snake catchers from the local rescue service captured the dejected python and released it back into the wild several miles away, where it began searching again for its next meal.
