Cat v Cobra
A curious young cat comes face-to-face with a baby cobra - swiping its paws at the deadly reptile.
The pair were seen squaring off in a deserted street in Jiadong, Pingtung, Taiwan on October 18 at around 10pm.
Onlooker Lin Li said he was driving at the time to visit a friend when he noticed the cat - believed to be a stray - watching the snake at the roadside.
He said: ''The cat was young. It looked like it wanted to fight the cobra. It's the first time I have seen a cat and a cobra quarrelling like this.''
Lin stayed to watch the animals for several minutes before the snake slithered away.
