A large group of adult male lions was spotted in Kruger National Park in South Africa, in a rare gathering unlike traditional lion prides.

Lions usually only have two or three grown males in a pride, but this group of five seemed to be enjoying each other's company regardless.

“At first we only saw 1 male Lion and started to follow him. He then joined up with the rest of the males, known as the Mpondo males or the Mpondo coalition, it's a once in a lifetime sighting” says filmer and wildlife photographer Cornel Rademeyer.

This video was filmed at Renoster(Rhino) Koppies in South Africa's Kruger National Park. At first we only saw 1 Male Lion and started to follow him. He then joined up with the rest of the Males, known as the Mpondo males or the Mpondo coalition. What an unbelievable moment when we passed the other cars and saw the other 4 Males lying in the grass next to the road ! 5 Male Lions Together ! A Once in a lifetime sighting ! We then followed them along the s114 for several kilometers South, as they walked in the road most of the time.
