This truck driver was seen carrying an extra-wide load of steel rods - while trying to squeeze through a narrow gap in traffic.

The driver had dozens of metal building foundation gauzes piled high on to the flat bed lorry in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Three lanes of traffic were queuing on the road last Saturday (27/10) morning as the truck inched along, with the metal construction equipment overhanging dangerously and clipping bushes on the central reservation.

The motorist who was stuck behind the extra-wide load said it was ''very dangerous''.

He said: ''I was worried about the other cars being damaged, not mine. I was quite angry when I saw the driver do this. They should have moved slowly. They were also hitting the trees with the metal.

''They have no common sense. This is not the right way to drive. I don't know how they passed their driving test.''
