Horse loses control and tramples over crowd of spectators
This is the shocking moment a horse race descended into chaos when one of the riders lost control of his mount and trampled a crowd of spectators. Several bystanders, including children, were bundled over and stamped on by the rampaging horse before the rider managed to bring it to a halt. The festival goers suffered injuries to their hands and legs but recovered from the blow after being treated with first aid in hospital. Among the injured were men, women and children who had been enjoying a day out at the races in Punjab, India.
