This cow calf born with one enlarged eye is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu god at a village in northern India.

Footage shows the one-eyed calf lying down beside its owner and carer, Sima Akhter.

Sima said villagers have flocked to his home to worship the calf as they think the animal is a god.

''Although being a Muslim we do not worship anything other than Allah, but we have allowed the Hindu brothers to worship the calf as it is their religion,'' Sima said.

The clip was captured on January 2.

This is a strange video of one eyed calf which was born at a village in the Bardhaman district of West Bengal.
The clip shows the one eyed calf sitting beside a woman who asks if the calf is drinking the milk of its mother. The other woman says, no it is not I am feeding it myself.
The calf is seen with only one eye and no nostril with just a mouth with its tongue out.
The owner Sima Akhter says that the people are coming to see her calf constantly from nearby villages. Some also have said that it is a miracle of god.
They are coming to seek blessings from the cow as they think the new born calf is a god.
The calf owner says 'Although being a muslim we do not worship anything other than allah, but we have allowed the hindu brothers to worship the calf as it is their religion'.
The veterinary says that this is due to genetic factor and the villagers believe in superstition so much that is why they think this animal is a god
