Man performing stunt clinching venomous snakes in between teeth while drinking water
A horrific video footage captures two men playing with venomous snakes at a snake show organised during a Ramayan play at the Ganjam district in Odisha, India.
The video captured by one of the audiences displays the horror when the man takes the venomous snake out of a basket and holds it in between his teeth.
He first holds the snakes in his mouth and waves his hands at the audience and asks them to clap, the next moment he catches hold of the snake with his bare hands and tries to toss them in the air.
The audience gathered in hundreds can be seen cheering and clapping to the skills of the man as he holds up the snake in his mouth. The play continues to the cheers of the crowd and the tunes of the music that plays in the background.
The dangerous snake show takes place every year during the Ramayan play organized in the Ganjam district of Odisha. It is being said that the organization doesn’t take a strong step to ban such shows in the name of festivals.
Such snake shows keep happening in the presence of police personnel present in the venue itself.
When shared on the social media it drew a lot of reactions from the people. While some termed it illegal, others were surprised and appreciated the skills of the snake charmer.
The breed of the snake is being assumed as a spectacled cobra, a snake commonly found in the northern region of India.
