Cat with head stuck in iron pile rescued by kind farmers in India
A heart-warming video shows a cat being rescued by a few men after it got its head stuck inside a metal ring in Punjab, northern India.
The cat was struggling to get its head out of the metal ring when the men spotted its struggle at a farm in Muktsar. They then came to its rescue and freed the feline by breaking the metal ring using a hammer.
In the video, few men can be seen sitting around the stuck cat as a man holds the ring and hammers it repeatedly in order to break it. Another man can be seen holding its limbs to stop it from making any movement during the rescue operation.
The man meticulously hammers the ring by placing it on an iron rail beneath. The repeated hit is made cautiously so that the cat is not injured in the process.
Finally, the ring is seen breaking into pieces after being hammered repeatedly releasing the neck of the feline. As soon as its limbs are released, it jumps and runs from the spot scared. The men can be heard bursting out into laughter on seeing the animal run for its life.
The video was later shared on the social media which drew a number of reactions and comments from the users worldwide.
Some passed this as a hilarious event, others said that the rescuers had done a good job by rescuing the animal.
