INDIA-PAKISTAN TENSIONS: Shocking aftermath footage of terror attack that killed 40 in Kashmir
At least 40 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) soldiers were killed and 20 more injured in Kashmir on February 14 as a car full of explosives rammed into their transport bus.
Footage of the bombing aftermath from February 15 shows the vehicles turned into a mangled heap of metal due to the explosion, and debris strewn everywhere on the ground.
Soldiers are inspecting the entire wreckage site to find out the extent of damage caused. Efforts are being made to clear out the debris from the road.
The convoy of CRPF trucks were passing along the Jammu-Srinagar highway when a car packed with at least 100kg of explosives was rammed into one of the troop buses.
The terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad, known to be based in Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
