Three Car Crash Ruptures Gas Line

Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving three vehicles in the 1700 block of West Pico Blvd cross of Burlington Avenue. Arriving crews located 3 cars with major damage. One of the cars crashed into a gas line, rupturing it and causing a leak. The gas company was dispatched to shut down the gas that was producing a very obvious smell of natural gas from a distance. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time. Injuries were reported but at this time it's unknown how many parties or the extent of injuries. It's unknown if intoxication or speed were a factor in the collision.
