'The lion who came to tea!' Thirsty feline enters Indian village to get drink from well
A heat wave in west India affected not only people but animals also as a thirsty lion entered a village to drink from its well last Sunday (May 5).
In Gujarat state’s Amreli village, a male Asiatic lion approached in search of water, calmly coming up to a big water pot that was set up for stray animals as well as livestock to grab a drink.
Amazed villagers can be seen watching the surreal scene from a distance. Reportedly after finishing its drink, presumably refreshed, the lion left the area peacefully.
