Incredible Hulk statue withstands tropical storm but Spiderman and Captain America are blown over
The Incredible Hulk lived up to his superhero credentials this afternoon (May 10) bravely withstanding a tropical storm.
Heavy rain and gales lashed Bangkok, Thailand, at the 5.30pm local time blowing over trees and metal stands.
Sculptures places outside a cinema promoting hit movie Avengers: Endgame bore the brunt of the downpour.
Footage captured by one onlooker shows how lead character The Incredible Hulk managed to withstand the elements and stayed standing.
However, his compatriots Spiderman and Captain America clearly lacked the resilience to defeat the monsoon rains.
They were both toppled over by the wind with Spiderman suffering a broken arm.
Filmer Kritkasem Sukkasem said: ''I was waiting for the bus to come home and the rain suddenly came. It was the strongest storm I have ever seen in Bangkok.
''It was interesting that the Incredible Hulk could stay standing. Even trees were blown over.''
