Tiny science equipment used to create big bangs and firework display

A science teacher used tiny flasks and pots to mix calcium carbide with six different ingredients that resulted in underwater fireworks and a rocket in Gosford, Australia.

The teacher created the mini experiment on May 29, and was "focused on calcium carbide, which produces acetylene gas upon contact with water" to create some cool displays of science.
