Elevator doors in Chinese apartment suddenly crash open after stone gets stuck inside
The doors on an elevator suddenly crashed open in a residential building in southern China after a stone got stuck inside.
In the CCTV video, filmed in Quanzhou City in Fujian Province on June 2, the elevator doors suddenly distort and a gap opens up followed by loud noises.
Fortunately, no one was in the lift when the incident happened.
Repairmen and property management workers found a stone trapped in the elevator doors, which caused the lift malfunction.
The maintenance work is underway, reports said.
