Man rides down busy road on motor scooter while bringing child standing on the seat

A reckless father was filmed riding a motor scooter down a busy road in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Monday (August 5) while bringing child standing on the seat.

The man riding with a dangerous risk of himself and his child, according to the filmer of the video.

Filmer filming this moment and uploaded to Facebook for other parents did not do this dangerous thing.

Traffic accidents during 2018 totaled 107,968 incidents. Deaths averaged 30,000 people per year, or 80 people per day, according to the Indonesia National Police.

In Global Status Report on Road Safety 2013, Indonesia as eighth among the top ten countries in order of magnitude on road traffic injury deaths in the world. Vulnerable road users (pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists) make up almost three quarters of road traffic deaths in the Region and accounted for the highest reported proportion of total deaths in the South-East Asia and Western Pacific Regions.

Over 89% of those killed on the roads in Indonesia are vulnerable road users. In Indonesia including India, Maldives and Thailand in Southeast Asia Region, drivers and passengers of motorized two-wheelers account for the bulk of the most vulnerable road users.
