An Indian war veteran named NK Mahajan was pickpocketed while at an ATM in Delhi on October 3.

Mr Mahajan entered the ATM in south Delhi in Hauz Khas area at around 1:50 PM to withdraw some cash, when the two thieves successfully pickpocketed him, but not without being caught on CCTV.

In his complaint to Delhi police, Mahajan claimed he was followed by the two ladies when he entered the ATM.

He asked them to wait outside, but they refused and entered the ATM anyway, as there was no guard available to stop them.

Describing the event further he said: "The ATM indicated the amount asked is not available or words to this effect.

"Then the ladies reached near me and asked me is there is any problem and quietly one of them stole 40,000 from right trouser pocket which I had taken out few minutes ago from the bank."

He has filed a police complaint against the two.
