Scary moment jeepney bus catches fire in Philippines
A jeepney bus caught fire after a suspected diesel engine problem.
The driver noticed something was wrong when the exhaust started sparking and producing an explosive-like sound.
He parked the jeepney on the side of Marcos Highway in Rizal to check what is wrong. Onlooker Jed Foronda said everyone was panicking and didn't know what to do.
He said: "We were trying to find the driver but we can't. He left when the exhaust started sounding bad to ask for help."
The incident happened in the Philippines on October 6.
Local council officials responded to the area to clear the area.
