Female shopper horrified after man allegedly films her underneath fitting room door in the Philippines
A female shopper in the Philippines was horrified after a man allegedly filming her trying on a swimsuit under the fitting room.
The woman claimed she saw the phone peering under the door while she was in a fitting room on October 30.
The shopper said she bent down and noticed the screen before screaming and kicking the phone away.
CCTV video from the mall Manila shows the man quickly walked away after apparently being rumbled.
The man them rushed outside the mall but his face was captured by the security cameras.
The woman said: "I kicked the phone and shouted, but I wasn't able to chase after him because I wasn't wearing any top. I was shocked."
In the video, the man was filmed pretending to fix his shoelaces and placing his phone at the space underneath the fitting room door.
The employees in the area at that time said they thought that he was the boyfriend of the alleged victim so they did not ask him to leave despite being inside the female fitting room area.
The alleged victim said she will pursue legal action against the man, but first made a public plea on social media to identify him.
She said: "Whoever this guy was, he gave me so much trauma. I was really scared. I hope we can find him so he can get what he deserves."
The incident was reported to the Manila police who have started an investigation to trace the man but have so far not made any arrests.
