This insect's camouflage looks like nuggets of marijuana
Footage shows insects that resemble pieces of weed. The insects were found in a front yard in New Jersey on November 23.
The resident said he saw dozens of them crawling around his yard.
He said: "The weather was chilly but sunny, perfect weather to check the big oaks in the front yard for wonderful bumbling Lichen-carrying Green Lacewing larvae. There were dozens just crawling around on the warm bark or hiding away in the crevices."
The mossy crawling bugs are actually lacewing larvae covered in Lichen.
Lacewing larvae use the clump of lichens as camouflage so they can sneak past the ants and eat the aphids.
