This creepy mass of worms formed a bizarre line outside a hotel in southern Thailand

The creatures were found by passing tourist Leonardo Jimenez while he was walking by the property in Surat Thani province on November 13.

Leonardo thought the strange worms were a baby snake but when he went to have a closer look, he realised the tiny insects were forming the shape by crawling together.

Footage shows the worms scrawling together across a tiled floor.

Leonardo said: ‘They looked like a snake and then I was surprised. Closer, they were worms that looked like rotten spaghetti. It was really strange.'

The tiny worms were identified as fungus gnat larvae. The long line is formed as the larvae climb on top of each other to follow the leading ones.
