As things have slipped into a new normal, protesters seek to maintain attention and mobilization via small-scale rallies. Today, for example, a rally dubbed "2020 Karma to Commies, Universal Siege on Communists" took place at Edinburgh Place in Central Hong Kong.

Quite peaceful, and with a lot of US and British flags as well as a small cluster of flags calling for Hong Kong independence, the protest aimed at relating the various initiatives to keep the fight alive across the world. The highlight was the Italian tenor Stefano Lodola singing "Do you hear the people sing", the song of Les Misérables, also used as marching hymn by protesters.
